Have you ever found a card layout that works for absolutely everything? Today’s project is exactly that kind of design!
I created four completely different cards using the same basic template, and the results were amazing. By simply changing the Designer Series Paper, colors, and focal image, I created cards that range from fall-inspired to Christmas-themed, from cute and whimsical to elegant and sophisticated.
The beauty of this layout is that it lets your Designer Series Paper shine while still leaving room for your favorite stamp set or bundle to take center stage.
The Card Layout
For all four cards, I used the same measurements:
Supplies & Measurements
Colored Cardstock: 4-¼” x 11″
DSP Strip #1: 2″ x 5-⅜”
DSP Strip #2: 1-¼” x 5-⅜”
DSP Strip #3: ¾” x 5-⅜”
Neutral Cardstock: 3-½” x 5″

Four Different Looks
Fall Fun
The pumpkin-themed card shows how beautifully this layout works with the Painted Patch Suite. The layered patterns add interest while the focal image ties everything together perfectly.
Whimsical Christmas
Who can resist that adorable mouse? This version combines festive patterns and bright holiday colors for a playful Christmas card using A Little Christmas Suite.
Elegant Winter Greenery
For a more sophisticated look, the super suite- The All Wrapped Up Suite! This design would be perfect for holiday greetings or winter thank-you cards.
Classic Holiday Plaid
Nothing says Christmas like plaid! This version showcases how a simple focal point can stand out beautifully against bold patterned paper. I used the Mix and Match products for this one. So easy!!
